Last days to register to Atout France cookery competition for international chefs

COOKING COMPETITION: REINVENT FRENCH RECIPES! - A reinterpretation of French cuisine -

Over the years, French cuisine has drawn on the richness of external influences, such as new products and the discovery of other cultures and new techniques. In order to maintain the creativity and modernity of French gastronomy, Atout France is organizing a cookery competition open to international chefs, to promote and enhance France’s culinary heritage.

Chefs from all over the world are invited to reinterpret a French recipe of their choice, respecting its cultural identity. Participants must register their interest and choose a recipe by 5 October 2018, accompanying their entry with photos of the dish inspired by classic or regional French cuisine. Every variation they intend to make (ingredients, culinary techniques and cooking methods) must be stated. A jury will select five winners according to these recipes. In November 2018, they will be invited to cook their recipe at the Ferrandi School in Paris, after which a winner will be selected.
